    we’ve been contemplating adding some green smoothies to our diet. does it take a while to blend up the greens in a traditional blender? i can’t wait to try some of your recipes! 🙂

      It doesn’t take any time at all to blend the greens! The trick is to add the fruits and liquid to the blender first and then slowly add the greens once you have a puree. I have a standard blender and have had no problem as long as I add some water/ice and frozen fruit first!

        Thanks for the tip about starting out with a puree. I have been considering doing this but was worried my standard blender would leave lots of chunks in the smoothie.
