Shamelessly ripping off my friend Laura: 5 Things that Made me Happy this Week

June 19, 2011

My blogging buddy Laura at A(n) (Un) Common Family does a Sunday post each week about things that make her happy. It’s something that I look forward to reading and I wanted to share my own list for this week.
1. Morgan’s first self portrait.
I’m especially fond of his little insect looking legs. He also told me that he had “boogers” in his nose. Guess he’s working on some realism.
2.  Cheap a** mustard that actually tastes gourmet. I am a skeptic in all things store brand and I would never have purchased this item without eating it at a friend’s house…but seriously?? WOW.
ahhhh. Best enjoyed with a margarita and some itunes. I’m loving summer!
4.  I woke up on Wednesday morning and Morgan was standing by my bed in this outfit.
WHOOOA!!! I’m applauding the style and creativity 🙂
5.  Inheriting my friend Lesley’s FULLY STOCKED BAR when she moved this week. I was so sad to see my friend go…but the alcohol that she left did a lot to smooth over the tears. Prior to the arrival of Lesley’s magical cardboard box of adult beverage goodies…our bar held two bottles of dessert wine and about a table spoon of Kahlua. Now? It’s cocktail time BABY!
Have a happy week!

Tell me when the cocktail party is taking place and we’ll be there! And I love that the Walmart dijon mustard made the list! 🙂
