Mom Street Style — baby wearing

April 19, 2011

I’m entering a contest on Mom Street Style.

The prize (a pair of awesome designer jeans) was exciting enough to make me show a full body photo even though I’m still in between sizes. These babies would totally come in handy when I reach my goal!

It’s already hot here in the desert, and I’m wearing  Current Elliott destroyed boyfriend jeans, a simple Old Navy tank, and my Beco Butterfly carrier. If I’m not baby wearing, I will typically dress up this look with a bright scarf or statement necklace, but I find it’s a bit distracting with the pattern on the carrier. If you look close, you can see stacked Stella and Dot bangles in gold and turquoise to add a pop of color..along with a jade bracelet to coordinate with my Steve Madden gladiator sandals.  Leighton bug wasn’t feeling particularly cooperative when Daddy snapped the photo and we couldn’t capture the look from a different angle 🙂

Also, how rude! That girl of yours is positively gorgeous, too! Hey – you must look really good b/c people always notice the baby first, right?! 🙂

Jen – You are one hot momma!! I love this look!! Dressing up your babywearin’ self with cute shoes, gorg sunglasses and bracelets – perfection!!

And I’ve been using my Ergo as a pooch-hider too. Sigh. Hopefully the pooch goes down before my little guy grows out of it, LOL!

Thank you! The sling is hands down the best pooch-hider 🙂
I love the inspiration that I get from your blog!
