Losing the baby weight: WEEK 2, Weighing In

I did not lose any weight this week. So, two weeks, 1 lb.

Leighton was sick from Sunday through Friday so I only got to work out with the trainer once. I was trying hard to stick to my eating plan, but her refusal to eat solids coupled with my body’s attempt to provide enough food to meet 100% of her needs made me crazed with hunger. I caught myself eating frosting by Thursday night….blown away by an overwhelming need for sweets.

You know what? It happens. There will be weeks when nothing goes as planned. I’m not going to beat myself up about it.

I got on the stationary bike yesterday for half an hour while Jeremy held the baby and it felt good. My visits with the trainer are making my body more toned and my energy level has been great in spite of the sleepless nights. That’s what I’m focusing on…the stuff that matters.

    grrrr… that’s so aggravating when you’re trying SO HARD to do everything right, and the scale doesn’t reflect it. keep your awesome positive attitude though, and you’ll see the changes!!!
