Pain is weakness leaving the body…
Since you asked about my workout yesterday 🙂
We did a warm up of running across the gym a few times and then progressed to jumping over a weight bench, doing fast intervals of full body cardio and strength training moves with little rest. I squatted with a dumbbell and then sprang up and lifted the weight over head. I did squats with a weighted bar…shuffles with a weighted bar…chest flies, abs on a ball with the trainer sitting on my legs telling me that the belly jelly was wobbling. It was very intense!
I wish that I could recall each exercise, but there is a haze due to the fact that I was very near vomiting on several occasions. I love a great workout and hadn’t done anything this intense in so long. It felt great…although I am feeling every single muscle in my body today. I am pushing some motrin and rehydrating in anticipation of tomorrow’s workout. I have hired my surly trainer for 12 sessions. I will see him 2x a week for 6 weeks and am hoping to ROCK a bikini when we go to the Jersey shore in June. Watch out…there will be a new JWOW in town. (ha! Not really…but it sounded good.)
Today, I took an hour long walk through the hills pushing the stroller while the L Bug napped.
