Early Spring

He shoots! He scores!

We’ve truly enjoyed this week’s warm weather. The highs have been near 80 most days and Morgan and Claire are soaking up the sunshine. As I speak, J is out on the patio shouting into his cell phone about sports…ahhh….summer is close.
Grandpa Jeff sent Morgan the entirely cool retro basketball hoop and it has been a SENSATION. We take it outside in the evening and the little guy loves dunking balls in to hear a little bell go “Ding”.
Morgan and I have also planted basil, lavender, thyme, cilantro, and parsley. We enjoy going out to water the plants and to smell the delicious aromas. I’ve taught him to gently crush the plant to release the fragrance and he is hooked!
Today, the little one went to daycare and J and I enjoyed a beautiful lunch at a local restaurant with an amazing patio area. We sipped Sauvignon Blanc and enjoyed a little grown up time. SWEET.

Grrr….I am SO jealous. I would love for a 50 degree day at this point.

Wow, I thought we have had some nice weather but 80 sounds really nice! Morgan is looking like such a cute big boy!
