That's so Metro…

December 4, 2008

So the little guy and I were getting ready this morning and he points to my Aveda hair glaze and says–Dat?
I showed him the bottle and told him that it would make his hair shiny and that it would smell good.
Morgan then proceeded to put the bottle against his hair to “rub it in”.
Of course I had to show my little guy the correct way to apply the product and then he took a deep whiff of the aroma left on my hands and smiled.
I can tell we’re going to be good friends for life. This kiddo has discriminating taste 🙂

Good job Jen!! I’d consider 1.5lbs in a wee pretty dramatic on you! That’s awesome. Great idea with the green beans in the noodles, btw! We’ve been doing broccoli, parmesan cheese, and cream of mushroom (slightly lower cal than alfredo) on occasion when we eat pasta. It’s so hard to lose weight when you’re trying to make your kids gain it!

Jen, I found your blog by way of La Belette Rouge–and I’m so glad I did. We are parents of a little girl born in Korea (she’s 7 now), and I love that you are writing about your process with your son.Congrats on the weight loss, too! It’s a battle I need to get going on myself (my husband travels and I stress eat–bad combo!)Anyway, great to “meet” you and find your blog. Kirie

Thanks for the green bean idea. I’ve used zucchini shreds and spaghetti squash instead of noodles, but haven’t thought of the green beans!
